In the tradition of top-down monster-busting games like Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol comes GRAVE CHASE, a new title being developed by Roger Barr (I-Mockery) and Skeleton Crew Studios (Bionic Chainsaw Pogo Gorilla, Abobo’s Big Adventure).
As inspired by a love for retro games and irreverent humor as their past titles Grave Chase also takes some cues from horror films, most notably in the title’s plot which finds two kids using science and shovels to avenge the death of their parents at the hands of a maniac Groundskeeper who’s hellbound to keep his graveyard well-stocked with fresh bodies…”by killing all the people in town and throwing their body parts into open graves!” Players will need to survive 31 stages (representing each day in the month of October) in order to see their vengeance fulfilled, over the course of which they’ll face off against “hordes of the undead, skeletons, blobs, axe-wielding psychopaths, ghosts, mummies, and much more.” Sounds like my kinda Halloween party!
