There has been a slew of strange limited edition flavored Oreos coming out, one of the more bizarre being Swedish Fish flavored. To that I say: just no, stop…some things were not meant to be messed with Nabisco. So with that atrocity on my mind I was hesitant to try the new Candy Corn flavored Oreos. Girding my taste bud loins I took a bite and found, to my surprise, that is was pretty damn tasty—I had to stop myself from eating more.
The Candy Corn Oreos have the same texture as their traditional counterparts. However, these are made with vanilla cookies instead of chocolate. They smell delicious and delightfully sugary. I wasn’t huge into candy corn as a kid, but a candy corn enthusiast has emphatically told me that they nailed the flavor.
This Halloween themed candy gets a thumbs up and 4 out of 5 Snack-o-lanterns.
