Point And Click Horror Adventure, BULB BOY, Now on Steam!

After 13 months of development—and “drawing, writing strange equations, looking for gross sound and drinking gallons of coffee”—Polished-based game studio Bulbware has launched their point and click horror adventure game BULB BOY in all it’s eerie glory.

I had a chance to play a demo of the game back in August and the team at Bulbware really nailed the creep factor for this title, which is chock full of sorts of hideous creatures conjured from Lovecraft’s worst nightmares…all of whom are trying to murder a small bulbous-headed protagonist in search of his missing family. The story is told in “bubble speech” (animated speech clouds), a unique narrative device that works well with the creative puzzles Bulb Boy is challenged with solving. Oh yeah, there’s also poop (“in many sizes and proportions”)!

For more information, check out the official Bulb Boy website or jump directly over to Steam.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

One gloomy night, Bulb Boy wakes suddenly from a frightening nightmare to discover that evil has overshadowed the Bulbhouse. His family has disappeared and there are horrid monsters lurking in the shadows. Gather the courage and use his glass head to save everything he loves. Find light in yourself!
