Announced earlier this month at the Apple press conference, Fantastic Plastic Squad is a brand new game being developed by California-based developers, Pound Sand, that offers gamers a chance to battle as their favorite (off-brand) action figures…I guess it’s like Toy Soldiers: War Chest but without the expensive licensing. A “free-to-‐play” third person shooter, Fantastic Plastic Squad will require players to “collect and control dozens of 1980-style five-inch-tall action figures that have come‐to‐life to battle against their enemies for control of a house.”
While no game footage has been posted as of this post, the Pound Sand team has released the game’s opening cinematic which you can check out below.
Fantastic Plastic Squad will be available later this year for mobile devices.
