Independently Awesome: ‘Skeleton Warriors’ Grimskull Action Figure

Only a little over a year ago, October Toys announced that they would be resurrecting the SKELETON WARRIORS series—with the blessing of Goddard Film Group, LLC—for a brand new toy line starting with the diabolical Baron Dark and his skeletal legion. As one of the backers who helped make that happen, I am happy to say that the Baron exceeded all my expectations. Not only is he even more detailed that the original figure, but since it was created using the “Glyos System”, you can disassemble and reassemble the bones however you like!

Now October Toys is ready for Round 2 and this time their focus is on the side of good…or at least the gray area between good and evil. More specifically, they’re seeking to fund a Grimskull action figure. For the uninitiated, Grimskull (real name Joshua Steele) was the younger brother of series hero Justin Steele/Prince Lightstar, who could “travel between shadows” and ran around with a wolf named Stalker. In other words, he was THE coolest character in the entire series.

Once again, Grimskull will be built using the “Glyos System” which means his parts will be interchangeable with any other figure in this line. Not only that, but the figure will feature 25 points of articulation and come with a pistol, laser staff/axe, “removable cape, laser pistol, staff, and alternate chest skull.” PLUS his freaking eyes glow in the dark!
