TURBO KID Rides into Select Theaters and VOD—August 28th!

The wait is almost over. Ever since it was announced that François Simard, Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell’s T is for Turbo short would become a feature length film (back in 2013) I’ve been salivating for a chance to see how this “BMX powered post apocalyptic splatterific love story” holds up. Seriously, I’ve had to carry around a drool all day for the past two years… it’s been pretty gross. But now, finally, TURBO KID is leaving the festival circuit and headed our way. Playing first in select cinemas across Canada, the film will then “be available on VOD on iTunes, Bell, Rogers, Shaw, and Vimeo” on Friday, August 28th.

In case that’s not enough Turbo Kid news for you, the project is apparently back on IndieGoGo seeking to raise funds for an entire line of TK-themed merchandise from Turbo Tuques/Beanies to custom action figures of the cast and possibly even a comic book!
