Christopher Lloyd Stars in Stop Motion ‘House of Monsters’ Series—July 28th

Only a year after it’s Kickstarter successfully concluded, Dawn Brown’s House of Monsters stop motion web series debuts later this month and it’s added a few new faces (and voices) to the mix. The series, which is based on Brown’s original short film, stars a group of dysfunctional monsters (werewolves, mummies, zombies, and vampires) led by Dr. Gaulstone—voiced by none other than Christopher Lloyd!

Described as “Nightmare Before Christmas meets Looney Tunes” the series will follow the cast of eccentric monstrosities (and their friends) “through adventures in an ominous castle and it’s neighboring village.” While there are shades of Rankin-Bass’ Mad Monster Party, not to mention Mary Shelley’s Frankenhole from Dino Stamatopoulos, Brown seems to be putting her own unique spin on the monster family formula.

House of Monsters will be available as part of Vimeo’s On Demand service starting July 28th.
