TURBO KID Sets Out to Save The Future… In the Past!

Another film premiering for the first time at Sundance, TURBO KID was originally conceived as a short film entry for Drafthouse Films’ The ABCs of Death called T is for Turbo. While it didn’t quite make the cut, contestants François Simard, Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell (RKSS.tv) director Jason Eisener (Hobo with a Shotgun) and producer Ant Timpson (The ABCs of Death) were impressed enough that they decided to turn Turbo Kid into a feature film with almost everything you could want from a post-apocalyptic movie!

90s era nostalgia? Check. Weird fashion choices? Check. BMX badassery? Check. Saw blades, severed heads, laser cannons, skulls, screaming… oh yeah, we are so good!

    • You and me both, man. I haven’t wanted to see a movie this bad since Hobo With a Shotgun and that was worth the wait. Hopefully this one will be too.
