Retroband Reveals Latest GPK-Inspired Mini Figure: Creepy Kevin!

Normally these would warrant their own Fan Art Friday, but this news is just too good to wait. Last year San Antonio-based toy sculptor Aaron Moreno, aka Retroband, released a series of 2″ mini figures called Retroband Kids which (somehow) flew right under our radar. The first piece in the series, a giant-sized “Toxic Timmy” figure inspired by The Toxic Avenger, was actually produced as a one-off for Miscreation Toys’ The Crawling Dead group show.

A few months later Moreno released two mini figures, a redux of “Toxic Timmy” for SDCC and “Slimy Sean” (a parody of Tarman from Return of the Living Dead) for Mondo Con. It would seem both were popular enough because a third figure was recently teased called “Creepy Kevin,” a reference to Night of the Creeps. No word yet on when this figure will be available, but you can bet we’ll be keeping an eye out for them!
