Independently Awesome: Super Fun Show, with Learning!

Just because we’ve got our own Kickstarter going on right now doesn’t mean we’re not still backing other, equally awesome projects. Case in point, Lexie Kahanovitz’s gleefully madcap webseries called Super Fun Show, with Learning!. Co-directed by Jim Tozzi (Xavier: Renegade Angel), the series is half animated and half live action featuring nods to everything from Pee-Wee’s Playhouse to Max Headroom, even bits of Videodrome and Forbidden Zone are subversively tucked in the folds of this “sci-fi comedy kids show for adults.”

With Episode One already completed, Kahanovitz and her team are looking to fund the next installment of the series which promises “a psychedelic laser light show adventure that’s reminiscent of that creepy tunnel scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” If you’re a fan of anything that’s ever aired on Adult Swim, especially shows like Tim and Eric or Saul of the Mole Men, then Super Fun Show, with Learning! should be right up your alley.

If you’re interested in learning more or to see how you can help support this project, be sure to stop by the Super Fun Show, with Learning! Kickstarter page.
