The Top List: 25 Awesome Christmas Comic Book Covers

There’s nothing quite like comics to capture the feelings of yuletide joy, bloody rage and twisted sarcasm that Christmas can often bring. Nowhere is this more evident than on a comic cover, where these entertaining mixed messages come freshly baked for mass consumption. In fact, looking back some of my favorite covers of all time are those with some sort of holiday theme to them, often featuring Santa. Whether he’s packing a shotgun, fighting the Hulk or wrestling zombies comics prove just how badass Santa Claus – and be extension Christmas – really is.

So, in the spirit of giving here are 25 of the coolest and most obscure Christmas-themed comic covers we could dig up. Enjoy!
