With Thanksgiving here and Christmas just around the corner I’m reminded just how thankful I am (yeah, this is going to be one of those posts) when it comes to Strange Kids Club; for everything the SKC team has accomplished this year, for all of the cool people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, for everyone who has continued to support us as we sling our wares and – most importantly – for your friendship.
Without all of you strange kids who make SKC a daily visit, commenting on our posts and sharing your thoughts with us on Facebook and Twitter this site simply wouldn’t exist. It just wouldn’t. There’d be no reason. That’s why I’m humbled by the fact that you choose to take an interest in the community we’re trying to build here. It’s not an easy venture – dedicating countless hours searching for stories to write, planning cool new products or building a platform where every strange kid out there (creator, commenter or casual fan) has a voice – but all of you have stuck with us and believed in us. For that you each have my deepest respect.
I hope that each of you – my fellow nerds, geeks, freaks and weirdos – have a kick-ass Thanksgiving today and that you’re all as excited about the future of Strange Kids Club as I am!
