Death Road to Canada Reveal Trailer

Recently kickstarted and due out this November, RocketCat‘s Death Road to Canada looks like 8-bits of glorified, zombie smashing fun. According to the Kickstarter page, the game “combines post-apocalyptic decision making events with action-adventure segments” that pits you and a randomly generated group against a MASSIVE zombie horde. You can repeatedly tell people to “Cool It,” crack some undead skulls or even teach dogs how to drive (no, really!).

The Mega Plush – Part 1

Ever since comics came to Hollywood there have been quite a few different interpretations of the “antihero,” but none quite as amusing as this. Sorta on the same grim & gritty level of Jim Henson’s Dog City, Matt Burniston’s The Mega Plush finds a team of four (stuffed) “vigilantes struggling against the uprising of the SOC army (Society of Chimps) and their evil leader, whose master plan is to dictate over the plush kingdom.”

Lorn – ‘Ghosst(s)’

Probably the most mellow selection this week, Lorn’s music video for their single Ghosst(s) was directed by French art collective CRCR and despite being more on the quiet side, the visuals are pretty psychedelic with a Liquid Television twist! CRCR describes it as a “demonstration of the passage from life to death, from a presence to an absence, [during which] various stages are linked together.” Sounds about right to me!
