“If only this amazing series was real” is sure to be the first words out of any MOTO or LEGO fan’s mouth. I know that’s exactly what crossed my mind when I first stumbled on it. Constructed by LEGO customizer Alex Jones (aka Orion Pax) these Masters of the Universe replicas consist of a massive roster of both heroes and villains, battle vehicles AND playsets – including an authentic Castle Grayskull! The set was first revealed at Grayskull Con 2013 in Germany:
It took me around two months to built, complete the setup and prepare the presentation. Masters of the Universe was and always will be one of my favorite 80s toy themes and it was a big design process to get them to this still concept, but quality level.
Unfortunately, unlike the limited edition Back to the Future LEGO set that just released these MOTU replicas are solely fan made… meaning we likely won’t see them in production any time soon.
