It’s been a little over two years since I was inducted into the world of Drew Bolduc & Dan Nelson’ The Taint (NSFW… seriously), but my nightmare visions of it are as clear as if it were yesterday – and with good reason! Labeled as the “ultimate sexually-frustrated-male-nerd-emotional-masturbation-release film” by co-director Bolduc, The Taint high octane thrill kill of an indie movie that made no apologies for being over-the-top and I love that.
Now, Bolduc is ready for round 2 as both Director and Writer of SCIENCE TEAM, a film that seems to be about an all girls science camp where young ladies are trained to “eliminate evil extraterrestrial threats.” While that may sound vague, Bolduc and his crew have offered plenty of teasers on both the Science Team Facebook page as well as their IndieGoGo fundraising page. Chip returns home to find that his mother has been brutally murdered. A sessile space alien is now living in her house. Science Team must eliminate the extraterrestrial threat. Drama ensues. People die. Inner and extraterrestrial demons are engaged. Men in pink suits use cool-looking technology. Events culminate in a destructive orgy of violence of such an epic intensity that people’s minds are literally blown out of their heads.
I don’t know what it all means yet, but I’m dying to find out!
