Monday Morning Videomania #27: Wonder Woman, Hadouken! Levitates, Pacman Dies

Wonder Woman Fan Film

Co-produced by director/stunt coordinator Jesse V. Johnson and performer/actress Nina Bergman, this extremely well done “fan trailer” only scratches the surface of what could be done with Wonder Woman in terms of film. By taking it’s cues from both Captain American and Thor, the potential of a Wonder Woman film could be massive (and exciting). Though I’ve never read many of the comics, the way WW has been portrayed in animation and video games – a strong, kick-ass warrior with a code – has always seemed “right” and this film hits those points.

PEOPLE ARE AWESOME 2013 (Hadouken! – Levitate)

STAFF PICK – BORJA CHAVARRI: The world is full of awesome people. HADOUKEN! once taught us that in their 2011 music video called MECHA LOVE. Now, in 2013, the world so full of even more beautiful things to see, incredible stunts to stare at and amazing people to admire. And so, here find HADOUKEN!’s latest music video, LEVITATE, once again showcasing a sweet compilation of what people can do when they want to go one step beyond.

PACMAN DIES (r.i.p 1980 – 2013)*

Poor Pacman. Of all the heroes in the known universe he’s the least likely to ever get any respect. Whether he’s popping pills or munching balls, pop culture will find a way to stick it to him. In this animated short by Irish animator, SpeedoSausage, the little globule finally gets his final rest… in the most painful and horrifying way possible.

*EDITOR’s NOTE: We do not condone the derogatory terms “fag” or “faggot” used in this video… just the vomit-inducing, traumatizing death of Pacman.
