Thanks to Tommy Day over at Top Hat Sasquatch I’ve recently been discovering (and re-discovering) a bunch of great artists whose nostalgia for action figures from the 80s and 90s rivals my own. Just last week Day posted about a brand new site called BOOT THE FOOT – a brand new Tumblr site that has various artist re-imagining characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. The best part is that each piece of artwork is featured on a blister card just like the vintage figure series!
