Monday Morning Videomania #6: My Little Pony, Mercenary Kings, Welcome to Da 90’s

My Little Pony – Shed

Max Gilardi is a sick, sick man… and I love him for that. Otherwise known by the moniker, Hotdiggedydemon, Gilardi specializes in taking cherished childhood icons like My Little Pony and putting his own perverted twist on them. In his latest video (SHED.MOV), Fluttershy gets in touch with her inner Leatherface – there’s even a few references to Pee-Wee’s Playhouse and Carrie!

Mercenary Kings – Trailer

Slated as the next release by indie game developer Tribute Games, Mercenary Kings looks to be more than just a Metal Slug clone, with a crazy variety of mix-and-match weapons PLUS animations by pixel demon Paul Robertson (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game). Not much has been said of the game, due out in 2013, other than its still in prototype stage. Let’s hope it’s a short gestation period.

Welcome To Da 90’s

Featuring a treasure trove of 90s era memorabilia, Welcome To Da 90’s is a brand new web series(?) hosted by the disembodied voice of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air… or something equivalent to it. Premiering every Saturday, the series consists of short “flashbacks” that showcase a variety of toys, posters, video games and more from (you guessed it) Da 90s.
