We don’t really cover many comic-related news stories here at the clubhouse, but this one was too good to pass up. It seems as though Batman’s most infamous rogue, The Joker, is making his first notable stab at The Dark Knight in DC’s “New 52” this October. Although the villain appeared in Detective Comics #1 last September – long enough to lose his face – this new storyline promises plenty of madness.
“This is Joker like you’ve never seen him before,” said series writer Scott Snyder. “He has a mission. He has a secret. And he has a serious axe to grind with Batman. It isn’t going to be pretty, but it’s going to be a wild ride.” All I need to know at this point is that it’s a faceless Joker, drawn by Greg Capullo, and it comes out in October (Halloween!!).
