Fan Art Friday: Justin Gammon’s MARS ATTACKS Motion Cards

As a fellow designer, and former contributor to Strange Kids Club, I’ve followed the work of Justin Gammon for some time now. Always vibrant and never boring, Gammon’s artistry continues to evolve in new and interesting ways as proven by his latest pet project which takes a series of Mars Attacks and brings them to life as animated GIFs. The results are equally disturbing and horrendously funny as the original artwork by Wallace Wood and Norman Saunders. Incidentally, it also makes me wish Topps would run with an idea like this for longer, animated shorts similar to the latest Madballs web series. You can find even more of Gammon’s amazing artwork on his official Instagram account.
