Fan Art Friday: Rodger James Becks’ WHERE’S WALDO Mashups

While it’s unclear what originally led Toronto-based artist Rodger James Beck to start this mashup series—which began with “Where’s Bobby?”—it’s pretty freaking clever in both it’s simplicity and sense of humor. Two years in the making and still growing, this collection of nostalgia-inspired fan art takes what could be considered among the earliest pre-internet memes (Where’s Waldo?) and applies it to an assortment of equally iconic pop culture characters including the well recognized (Krusty the Clown, Popeye) and relatively obscure (Vaughn Bodē’s Lizard, Grubby).
