TURBO KID Gets a Prequel…Of Sorts

No Tomorrow - A TURBO KID Tale

As one of our favorite films of 2015, Turbo Kid was an awe-inspiring indie film with tons of heart, some solid practical effects and a great storyline. Things have been relatively quiet since the film’s debut, however, until earlier this week when RKSS (Anouk Whissell, François Simard, Yoann-Karl Whissell)—the trio behind Turbo Kid—released the following music video for Le Matos’s single ‘No Tomorrow – A TURBO KID Tale’ starring Kid’s lovable robotic companion, Apple.

Referred to as a prequel, the 8+ minute short finds Apple tending to her latest (and rapidly decomposing) friend before encountering a mysterious cult and being challenged to combat a pyro-loving mutant barbarian. Naturally, Apple has her own unique way of dealing with such situations…

Written & Directed by RKSS (Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell & François Simard)
Music Composed by Le Matos (Jean-Nicolas Leupi & Jean-Philippe Bernier)
Lyrics & Vocal by Pawws (Lucy Taylor)
Cinematography by Jean-Philippe Bernier
Sound Design by Jean-Nicolas Leupi
