AJ Jankins Celebrates 30 Days of TMNT Mutants #FanArtFriday

AJ Jankins 30 Days of Mutants

With only a handful of episodes left to Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 3, I’ve been playing a lot of catch-up recently and I have to say—I’m loving all the new (old) mutants being introduced this season. With characters like Napoleon Bonafrog, Bebop & Rocksteady, Muckman & Joe Eyeball, the Mutanimals and Mondo Gecko all rearing their misshapen heads, I can only hope that other obscure creatures will be appearing in Season 4.

Suffice it to say, I’ve been in total TMNT mode so once I stumbled upon AJ Jankins’ (Hatesnack) “30 Days of Mutants” fan art series I knew I had to share it. Here’s what Jankins had to say about this project, which wrapped up this past April:

I’m celebrating the sheer genius of character design behind this toy line. This is by far the sickest toy design known to man. You probably wont see any actual turtles here. Nothing against them but the beauty of this line lies in the motley crew of mutants that fought alongside or against the turtles.

These are awesome. Really captures the spirit of the original toy line.
