That’s a not a question I’d ever thought of asking myself, but if I had to guess he’d be something like El Gigante (not to be confused with the former Argentine pro wrestler), a deranged cannabalistic luchador from Gigi Saul Guerrero’s short film of the same name. Produced by Luchagore Productions, El Gigante was originally funded on Kickstarter back in 2014 and has since premiered at a variety of film festivals and garnered some pretty high praise to boot. Here’s the official description provided on YouTube:
After attempting to cross the US/Mexico border in search of a better life, Armando (Edwin Perez) awakens in an unknown room, his body broken down and a Lucha Libre mask sewn into his neck. He attempts to escape, but is surrounded by a sadistic family, who watch him with hungry eyes. The only chance for Armando’s survival in this hellish nightmare is to last in a wrestling match against the most terrifying villain of all: GIGANTE!
While there’s no word on when the short will go public, Bloody Disgusting has reported that there’s already talk of a feature film version that follows the same “story of a deranged maniac in a Luchador mask named El Gigante who wrestles his prey to the mat in a grisly entertainment ritual of thrill-packed culinary prep for his cannibalistic family.”
