‘Raging Balls of Steel Justice’ Offers 80s Action Overload in Claymation Form

Chuck Steel : Raging Balls of Steel Justice

You know, there’s a serious shortage of insanely entertaining claymation movies out on the market these days, particularly ones that pay homage to 80s action movies like Die Hard, Robocop, Cobra, Beverly Hills Cop, 48 Hrs, Tango & Cash—man, there were a lot of them—Lethal Weapon, Code of Silence, Raw Deal, Rambo… I think you get the point. Luckily one man (or puppet) has the balls to stand up and accept the challenge of keeping claymation parodies of 80s action tropes alive and kicking butt: Chuck Steel.

Written, directed and voiced by Mike Mort, Chuck Steel: Raging Balls of Steel Justice stars “the best Goddamn cop on the force” (aka Chuck Steel) alongside a cast of equally colorful characters as Captain Jack Schitt, Steel’s boss; and Assface, Steel’s sex-obsessed robotic partner. In other words, it’s 15 minutes of explosive, action-packed, clay-fisted kick-ass-awesomeness. Better still, this short is only a precursor to a full length feature titled Chuck Steel: Night of the Trampires which is slated for release in 2017.
