Worlds Collide in IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Ghostbusters Crossover

I’m starting to learn that it’s a good time to be a Turtles fan. I’ve also learned that just when I think I’ve run out of things to look forward this year the universe hits me with news like this. Announced yesterday, IDW revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Ghostbusters would be crossing the streams in an all-new four issue series. Co-written by Tom Waltz and Erik Burnham with art by Dan Schoening, IDW says that both franchises are “fun, funny and just a little bit weird,” making them the perfect pairing.

Transported to a different universe by a faulty invention, the TMNT find themselves in a New York City much like their own, but with one major exception: a rampant ghost problem! If that weren’t enough, the Turtles and their reluctant new hosts, the Ghostbusters, soon find that the Turtles didn’t come alone…

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles / Ghostbusters #1 will hit stands this October.
