Fan Art Friday: Lord of the Rings’ Rivendell Made from 200K Legos

Although we don’t show it very often, Fan Art Friday extends way beyond just illustration and this week’s pick proves it. Created by LEGO uber-enthusiasts Alice Finch and David Frank, this replica of the Elven city of Rivendell was composed of 200,000 individual LEGO pieces! Obviously inspired by both the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises, Finch and Frank spent several months and countless late nights putting together this large-scale LEGO world.
