Monday Morning Videomania #32: The Gorburger Show, Zombie Brothers,

The Gorburger Show

The Gorburger Show [Episode 11]

I stumbled on this one quite at random just this morning and new that it HAD to be included. A joint production between Funny or Die and Warner Sound, The Gorburger Show is part parody – part real show that features a giant, bloodthirsty alien (played by T.J. Miller) who hosts his own Japanese talk show. Each episode features human-eating hijinks and a new musical guest, from Flea in hula drag to Carson Daly ripping someone’s head off! Season 2 just kicked off back in March and it’s shaping up to be even more insane – definitely recommended.

Zombie Brothers Short

From Nickeloden comes another awesome “micro-short,” this time by creator Eric Robles (Fanboy & Chum Chum) who teamed up with Screen Novelties for Zombie Brothers, the story of two undead brothers who are just looking for a little fun… and brains. Unfortunately it’s a little too short, more like a bumper, but it’s great to see stop motion being put to such great use. For those interested, Robles has also posted a ‘making of’ video to show how everything went down behind-the-scenes.

Post-It Note Arcade

In an astounding display of creativity, time management and determination Michael Birken spent 11 months and over 4,000 Post-It notes transforming his office space into a stop motion arcade by recreating scenes from both Ms. Pacman and Donkey Kong. I’ll be honest in admitting the sheer thought of that makes me tired, but it sure looks freaking sweet!
