On the Shelves: New DVD Releases for Feb 05, 2013

Some of the DVD/Blu-Ray releases for this week.

Peter Pan – Disney’s classic Peter Pan on Blu-Ray. One of my favorite Disney stories. I even went back and read the original Barrie novel as well as Peter David’s reimagining of the story, Tigerheart.  Great movie, great story.

Deadfall – A psychological thriller starring Eric Bana, Olivia Wilde, Kris Kristopherson and Sissy Spacek. Sort of a modern, more intense take on Bonnie and Clyde. Sounds interesting.

The Blue Lightning – From 1986, this movie looks pretty interesting. Sam Elliot and Robert Culp face off in a race to find a priceless opal known as The Blue Lightning.

Mafia – A movie that takes place in the 70s called Mafia starring Ving Rhames and Robert Patrick? I’m in.

Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes – It’s a Bigfoot movie on Blu-Ray. I kinda have to include it because I love Bigfoot movies.
