Fan Art Friday: Ryan Hall’s ‘Masters of the Universe’ 3D Paper Toys

To this very day Filmation and Mattel’s He-Man and the Masters of the Universe has been one of my favorite cartoons and action figures line – ever. Yep, it’s beat out Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe and Thundercats as my top pick for best animation/toy crossover ever (say what you will). So, it’s little wonder why I freaked out upon stumbling across Ryan Hall’s 3D paper toy incarnations, complete with retro 80s packaging!

Hall, who also takes on the moniker Doughy74 Design, has been creating these paper toys since as far back as 2010 (maybe even longer) and has amassed an impressive portfolio full of pop culture references. From He-man to TMNT and Dr. Who to The Real Ghostbusters, if it’s got a fan club chances are Hall’s made a toy for it.
