Behold! The Monsters of ‘Frankenweenie’ in Fearsome Pet Posters Series

FRANKENWEENIE comes out in theaters today and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Coming at the beginning of the October, the film marks one of the first decent Halloween-related films to hit in several years and the ONLY worthwhile horror/comedy flick all month.

The movie seems to be a return to form for director Tim Burton, whose last few projects have been a hit or miss. Being that the story is so close to Burton it comes as no surprise that Disney is pulling out all of the stops for it’s promotional blitz, including this series of posters starring Sparky and his monstrous companions. Notice that each pet, as well as each character, is a loving tribute to a classic horror movie (Frankenstein’s Monster, The Wolf Man, Dracula, etc) – that so cool!

I do want to watch it but I just can’t. I have a small frankendog and just watching the commercials just makes me cry… I just know that he’ll have to be put down at the end, just like every other pet movie and I just can’t handle it. Now saying that, I hope it does very well at the box office. this is something that Tim Burton has always wanted to do and it looks very cool.
