Success – SK Comix Magazine is Fully Funded with 6 Days Left!
I admit it… there was a time when I doubted that this could really happen. It wasn’t that I doubted that people wanted it, many of you have been asking for a new issue since last year, but fundraising is a hard gig. I’ve actually learned a lot of it in the past month since our first (as in there might be more!) SK Comix Magazine campaign kicked off. The most important lesson is to never underestimate the power of community… or in this case the clubhouse.
Whether you’re a new member or you’ve been hanging with us for awhile now, each and every one of you have made this moment possible. Directly, indirectly, completely by accident – it doesn’t make a difference – the clubhouse owes its success to all of you and I am eternally grateful to consider us as peers and friends.
That said, we’ve still got 6 days before the Kickstarter ends. Anything we raise now will go towards bonus rewards as well as reprints of Issue #1 (and more of Issue #2) so keep spreading the word! If we’re all lucky (myself included) we’ll be able to get copies of all three issues into your mitts this Fall and you can bet we’ve got our eyeballs peeled on doing more from here on out!
