Monday Morning Videomania #5: Hotdog Hustle, Buck Mustache and Bane vs Robin

Hotdog Hustle

Let’s get it on! Created by animator Tom Hunter back in 2011, Hotdog Hustle is a survival of the fittest type of story… between a man and a hotdog. Having worked on both Adventure Time and Yo Gabba Gabba, Hunter’s sense of humor and style certainly favor the former in this short and was inspired by this gif animation he did while attending RMIT University (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology).

Smooooove Buck Mustache

If there’s anything you should take away from New Money Comedy‘s Smooooove Buck Mustache it’s that the world’s a crazy place and the only way to survive is to be even crazier. With narration that sounds like it came straight from the mouth of a young Dennis Haysbert (The Unit, Allstate Insurance), this 70s blaxploitation spoof might not have high production value, but it hits all the right notes of funny. “He’s protecting our streets not knowing what dogs are!”

The Dark Knight and 60′s Robin

For those who haven’t yet seen The Dark Knight Rises I’d definitely recommend it. The film is vastly different in tone than, say, The Avengers but equally as massive in scale. Clever fans will notice several Easter Eggs, but one thing that they won’t see is *SPOLIER ALERT* Robin (at least in costume) and sketch comedy duo Paul W. Downs and Lucia Aniello (aka Paulilu) give us a pretty convincing idea why in their latest video.
