‘Dirty Clowns’ Come Out at Night in Creepy Music Video for Singer Chris Garneau

Seeing as how most music videos already exist in a sphere of surrealism, it takes a “special” type of director to take things to a David Lynch or Terry Gilliam level of weird, but that’s just what Ryan Gibeau and the outfit at ROCK*iT FiLMS did for singer/songwriter Chris Garneau’s latest music video, Dirty Night Clowns.

The video – which took six months to produce – features some amazing string puppetry work by Michael Leach, James Wojtal and Jamie Moore as well as set/production design by Danielle Brustman, all which can be seen in this behind-the-scenes video.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

“Dirty Night Clowns” is a wonderful tale of curiosity, danger and pursuit. Although its never known what the path ahead has in store, Chris takes a journey driven by his nervous curiosity to find the nefarious character who roamed about his house while he slept. What seems scary and evil from a distance might end up as something unexpected as a cast of characters lures Chris in for a special ending.
