This April Adam Green and Joe Lynch Will Make Horror Fans Lose their Minds with ‘Holliston’

We first mentioned the new “twisted comedy” called Holliston back in August of last year. Back then it was being billed by FEARnet as “a sort of Bill & Ted-style buddy/horror comedy” from the equally twisted minds of directors Adam Green and Joe Lynch (both of whom have starring roles in the series). As if that wasn’t awesome enough, Holliston will also feature Dee Snider and Oderus Urungus (GWAR) in recurring roles, not to mention hotties Laura Ortiz and Corri English! In short, this coming April will be EPIC.

In the past week there’s been a lot of new buzz about the series thanks to the release of the first official trailer (see below) which is Scanners-style mind blowingly awesome (speaking of Scanners, there’s a HUGE easter egg in this trailer). It seriously looks like everything that a horror-loving strange kid could ever want in a sitcom… blood, gross humor, rockstars and two of the biggest horror movie nerds on the planet. The only thing that could make it better at this point would be a cameo by James Gunn (please say yes, please say yes). Guest stars that have been already announced include Tony Todd, Kane Hodder, Danielle Harris, Bill Moseley & John Landis!
