Bad Puns and Paganism Collide in ‘A Muppet Wicker Man’
Some things are just born to be good together. Peanut butter and chocolate. Fish and chips. Jellybeans and Easy Cheese… oh yeah. Other things, however, come together as a result of happy accidents or pure curiosity and change the way you look at life forever. Okay, so maybe A Muppet Wicker Man isn’t life altering in any immediate way, but it’s still pretty freaking rad!
Originally released back in 2009, A Muppet Wicker Man is the twisted creation of Paul O’Connell, a writer and artist whose credits also include One Last Nazi Cumshot for the Road and The Bonnie Tyler Flea Circus and Greatest Hits Revue. To say the least, O’Connell’s work is engineered to both amuse and disturb and really, what’s more amusing or disturbing than watching Kermit the Frog roasting inside a giant wicker man?
