‘Pingu’ and ‘The Thing’ Collide in Lee Hardcastle’s Latest Claymation Mash-up

Our friend, Lee Hardcastle, is at it once again. The animator/director who first gained popularity for his Done in 60 Second series of shorts most recently beat out 100s of other to score a spot in Alamo Drafthouse’s ABCs of Death film anthology. Apparently the lad has no intention of resting on that victory, though, and he’s kicking off the new year with a brand new short that combines the cute/cuddly cast of PINGU with John Carpenter’s classic remake, THE THING. Hope no one here has sphenisciphobia (fear of nuns/penguins).
