Now if there’s one thing that signals the start of Halloween, it’s General Mills Monster Cereal trio (Count Chocula, Frankenberry, Boo Berry). Last year we were treated to some brand new packaging and character design which I sorta liked, especially since they had cool comics on the back of the box. Sadly, I haven’t heard or seen any sighting of my favorite monsters on store shelves this year, BUT there’s still time.

In the meantime, my strange kid sleuthing skills discovered his awesome fan art by illustrator Jeremy Scott who also seems to be working on a children’s book starring Dracula. Not only did Jeremy manage to capture the original three, he went a step further by including cereal castouts Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy. Definitely check out his blog for even more monster fun!

    Beautiful artwork! Love these.

  2. I always feel bad for the Brute and Mummy. On the other hand, they couldn’t stick to a single color palette like the others, so that may have been their downfall.

Aw! I love these! They’re awesome!
