Web Series Wednsday: Shadow Rock

Another one from Comedy Central’s web originals vault, Shadow Rock is a bizarre tale of two brothers featuring highly irregular tales of living in a desert town. Created by cartoonist Max Cannon, Shadow Rock is based on his comic strip called Red Meat which can still be found online here.

There’s a certain David Lynch sense of storytelling here in that the stories being told become increasingly more strange, but each are told in very manner-of-fact way by the narrator (Joe Spinoza). It’s gross, creepy, and funny all at the same time. The only thing bad about the series is that there aren’t more episodes.
